5 police officers among 7 killed in Pakistan blast

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- Seven people, including five police officers, were killed Saturday night when a bomb exploded in the Kohat district of northern Pakistan, police said.

No one has claimed responsibility for the planted bomb, but the attack appeared to target the officers, police official Naeem Khan said.

Earlier on Saturday, a car bomb killed 25 people in the nearby district of Khyber.
